I through phases of being hardcore. Like some months I'l stay up till 3:00am or so to watch 2 fighters Ive never heard of on the Spanish channel or catch streams from other countries with 2 relatively unknown fighters. Other periods I'll only watch the televised fights and catch occasional youtube videos.

I do,it's my favorite sport!!But this sight are full of stans!!U will find urself fustrated with all the Manny vs Floyd posts,or Europeans are better than American's or that European's are bums an Americans are best!!Or Mexican's and Rican's arguing over who has the most champions!!It gets fustrating because I happen to like fighters from all over the world & sometimes it seems like there aren't many fans who feel the same!!

I feel you, I have a collection of fights loaded on to my favorites on youtube, I use to be an avid collector of the Ring Magazine until a conflict of interest took place with a new owner handling the rights to it. And ESPN and Spanish channel were radars for up and coming prospects to look out for in addition to the major networks HBO/Showtime.

Define "Hardcore Boxing Fan"....or at least your definition of it. I'm sure you'll see that everyone has their own definiton of it. Which means some whom consider themselves to be by their own definition, would not be by yours.

I'm a bigger armchair fan than a hardcore fan. I like looking at the old fights. The big fights in the modern game. Like to see the way guys perform under pressure at venues like the MGM Grand and the Garden and the stadium gigs that are coming back.

If I was a hardcore fan I'd be going out of my way to watch boxing live in the UK but I only really do that with football. I only watch boxing live in my hometown and thats only on occassion, when I can afford it.

If money was no object I'd go to the LG Arena next month see Macklin vs Barker and Brook vs Jennings, but I'm not and I want to go see some Irish music fest in Bolton instead.
