This Nationalistic stuff is getting old.

Will keep this message short. I am honestly tired of fans on both sides of the Atlantic boasting about the superiority of their fighters based on nothing but contenentalism and small minded ideology. People that go out of their way to demean and bash fighters, and support fighters for no reason other than from where they are from. The sports name is boxing, and its a sport for everyone. The advice I have is for us boxing fans is to stop claiming regional superiority, only to goi quiet, when fighters from the region you support lose, and rather appreciate the good of fighters from all walks of life around the world today.
no, europeans have been gettin a lot of **** from americans when it comes to their boxers in recent years... its their turn and they deserve itComment

Now how the hell could any one give that fight to Kotelnik? I'm not even an Alexander fan at all. But he won that fight. Props to Kotelnik though but he got outworked by Alexander. Like in Floyd fights, Floyd is far from busy and he's very accurate but he also makes his opponent be even less busier than him. Kotelnik on the other hand was very accurate and not busy and not doing anything to smother Alexander or make him stop throwing that many punches. You can't lose a fight if you throw over 1000 punches unless you opponent throws more. In this case Kotelnik wasn't even close to Alexander's work rate.Comment

Tell that to Kotelnik who got robbed because he's a white Euro fighting in St. Louis.
Nationality in boxing is unavoidable.
The sport is built and driven by nationalism.
Try telling Pinoy's not to wave the Philipine flag during the next Pac fight and see what they think about it.Comment

Does anyone who makes these threads have a clue what Nationalism is?
Please look up actual definitions of words before making threads on them.
It's like if someone made a thread about hockey and said that the touchdowns being scored against his team were bad. Words mean things, they don't mean what you want them to...Comment
