I think we can all agree on that Devon is not ready for Bradley.

Agree!!! he also has a bad habit dropping his guard after throwing combinations....

Alexander's defense has too many holes on the inside against Bradley. Kotelnik has a lower workrate than bradley, yet he outlanded Alexander 225-203 per HBO Compubox, wtf wil Bradley do? I still think Alexander won 115-113, but he barely won. Also i think that Alexander's power is a bit overhyped as he never even hurt Kotelnik at all. Alexander nuthuggers criticized Bradley against Abregu, but which fighter got outlanded in their last fight Alexander or Bradley?

not necessarily, because the same Alexander you seen today is probably not the same Alexander you would see against Bradley, Khan or Maidana or Ortiz

I always said Bradley was the BEST fighter at 140 and I still believe that, he is 26, more seasoned and battled test then the rest so right now the I think Bradley beats most of them...BUT that does not mean Alexander can't beat Bradley or the rest because he looked bad against Kotelnik

lets not pretend like great fighters never struggled early in their careers or never had loses or close fights they shouldn't of had but this is the mentally of todays boxing fans, they put EVERYTHING into one match and they think they will determine a young fighters career based on ONE FIGHT!

struggling with Kotelnik is still not as bad as getting KO'd in 54 second against Prescott hahahaha

No one that can be hit that easily and has such a limited offense is beating Bradley. Bradley would find a groove, and have a damn good chance of stopping Alexander.

Respect your post,, but its not just about this fight tonight...I've pointed out many times that his defense needs to improve, he should of never been hit as much as he did against the Urango fight...I expected his defense to improve for his next fight,,,but it looked alot worse,, if he takes on Bradley in January, he loses...Tonight Devon fought like he was still green....

Despite his performance tonight, I think he is ready. He just CAN'T fight like he did TONIGHT.

I expect him to come back better against Tim.

This shouldn't be a problem vs Bradley because Tim doesn't keep a tight guard, he is a completely different fighter and whatever problem Devon faced tonight won't be the same vs Bradley. Neither one has seen as good a fighter as they will against each other. The closest thing to Alexander was Kendall Holt in Bradley resume style wise and the closes thing to Bradley on Devon's resume was Witter.

People talking about Alexander's power being overrated.

So is Maidana's power overrated since he couldn't KO Kotelnik?

It's a 50-50 fight neither are the fighters they are hyped up to be in my opinion. I just wasn't impressed however they have a lot of heart and work ethic and I give them all the credit they deserve and they are very hungry for greatness. All that being said I feel Amir Khan should be ranked ahead of these guys I just feel he is better skilled and has looked great in his last fights. After tonight his win over Kotelnik is even more impressive
