Who has Angulo beaten to consider him a top fighter?

I like Angulo but he's still pretty green. a lot of you are overrating him and his power. who was he knocked out to make you say he has beastly power? who has he fought to be considered a threat to fighters such as mosley, pac, etc?

I agree, he's very green..I remember when they were in talks for him to fight Mayorga, I was saying that was such a ****** move and Mayorga as wild and dumb as he is would've KO'd him...I did also call him losing to Cintron

dude has a fun style, but he's getting pretty overrated

I don't think anybody(who has a clue) really rates him as elite or would make him a favorite over guys like Mayweather or Martinez.

But he is what he is,a good contender,he's tough,he puts pressure on non stop,he fires straight punches and has a decent jab.he's a good finisher.A good solid fighter.

But I would give him good chances vs Mosley at this stage.

I think the Guiterrez fight was Angulo's defining fight. Not too many people know how strong Richard is. The Cintron fight might have been too early for him though. Angulo was only 15 fights deep going into that fight but he did have Kermit running backwards for the last 4 or 5 rounds. It almost looked like Angulo was gonna take him out as bad as Kermit was looking but Angulo's power isn't over-rated I think. As for Mayorga Angulo punches way too straight and crisp to lose to him. Mayorga hasn't displayed power since being at 147.

obviously the people who put him in the same sentence as pac, cotto, marg, mosley etc. He hasn't done **** to be viewed as a threat to these guys regardless of him being one division heavier then them.

i dont consider him a top fighter. he can fight i tell you that but need some more BIG FIGHTS in his resume to even consider a good boxer. he is just a decent one.

He aint beat not a damn body..lol...thats who! BUT he does have a crowd pleasing style so he gets recognition and is on hbo often.
