    Hattons next big fights?

Hatton has already had his career defining fight, but who else will he fight now?Hatton has said that he wants to be retired by 2007,so next year will be his last year in boxing. It doesnt look like the Mayweather fight will come off because Mayweather is jumping up to 154 to face Winky. In just a couple of months the lightwelterweight division has been turned upside down with Tszyu,Gatti and Harris being OWNED and looking as if they will not be as good as they were, and with Mayweather moving up in weight yet again to skip Hatton it leaves Hatton reigning alone as the king of the lightwelters.Unfortunately Cotto is not a big name and it just wouldnt be a big fight!I think Cotto is very good and would be a tough opponent for Hatton, but its not the kind of big fight he would be looking for because no offence to Cotto but hes not much of a name or an attraction if you know what I mean.Is it possible Hatton may move up to welterweight and get it on in LV with Judah??Imagine that!Remember Hatton does bloat upto around 180+ pounds between fights and hes a naturally strong lad,and remember Hatton ofcourse was there watching JudahVTszyu at MGM then Hatton told Tszyu in the hotel the next day that he'd fight him and beat him in 2005-which amazingly came true(by the way Kostya laughed because he didnt even have a clue who Hatton was!).

    So how about it,JudahVHatton?
    Or how about HattonVCorrales?
    Maybe HattonVCorrales then JudahVHatton?

I'd love to see Chico move up and fight Hatton. Cotto-Hatton would be good. At 147 he could fight Judah or Antonio Margarito or maybe even Gatti or Mayweather.

hatton witter=no chance, witter is too high a risk for no money or rep

hatton corales is probably off for the time being altho a match up might get made early next year if corales beats castillo again

personally i reckon hes gona clear up maussa and then see about cotto/mayweather/corales early to mid next year

If Mayweather dodges a Hatton fight like Jones did Calzaghe then Ill be damn disappointed.

Hatton's camp wants no part of Mayweather right now, that's why Floyd is wanting to fight Winky, because no one wants to fight him. He should be fighting Judah, but Judah's set for September.

I hope Hatton comes to fight soon, he's got the smarts to go Mayweather but I agree it won't happen soon. Cotto, he'd give Hatton a run.

Hatton will get picked apart by Mayweather, graneted he will have his moments but he comes in wide open. Also inside Mayweather will see Hattons looping punches coming and tag him. Hatton will keep coming but in terms of speed, footwork, accuracy of punches, and jsut about everything Hatton is overmatched. Mayweather stops Hatton in 9.
