peter vs wlad - dont bet any money on the outcome

there alot of question marks about peter, things we dont know... we know he can punch, but can he take a punch? can he handle a jab? can he handle it when some offense comes his way? his ability to take a punch is probably the biggest unknown factor... let's also not forget peter's inability to KO shufford or his camp deciding not to fight JC gomez on HBO...

it is possible that he walks thru wlad, but its also possible that he freezes up when wlad hits him... wlad is a terrific offensive fighter and peter will have to go thru at least his jab to get him... there are too many unknown variables to make a solid prediction on this fight, of course we can speculate on what we think, but its a not a fight to lay any money on...

becuase of the unknown elements i think its bad fight for wlad and hope he doesnt take it, at least not 2 fights removed from losing to LB... if he takes the fight and loses, everyone will write him off, even though he may have lost to the future of the division... if he wins, then he beat a dangerous puncher, but someone that was unproven and hasnt beat anyone...

PS - i started this thread cause i refuse to post in the ill-rational HATE threads

...Your right about not being a fight to bet the house on either way. I wouldn't put money on Wlad in this one and wouldn't be surprised to see him sprawled out like Jeremy Williams but I also wouldn't be surprised if Wlad handled Peter easily. Very intriguing matchup. I would have to watch this one alone because I will be in such a state that I may kill somebody for talking **** if Wlad gets whacked.

I agree, no way to know what's going to happen. Peter can't deal with a steady jab and movement, and Wlad cant deal with getting hit in the face. One of the two are going to win by KO though. That much can be bet on.

it appears the two schools of thought are:

        1 - peter KO's wlad early
2 - wlad schools peter, KO's him later

either one can happen, but remember in the brewster fight, brewster took a tremendous ass whippin for 4 rounds and was knocked down... does peter have that chin? does peter have that heart? things we dont know, cause his level of opposition has been dreadful...

....Also remember that Wlad is now training/sparing for 12 rounds instead of the four round training sessions that Many had him in for Brewster. I still can't figure that **** out. What a mystery when he got gased.

NEVER bet on Wlad, too incocsistent. However, the things you mention make this a very good match up that could go either way. I would love to see this fight happen. But I think Peter will opt for Sam instead.

This is a gonna be the make it or break it fight for both fighters. The winner will get the spoils and the loser gets closer to retirement. I know many people believe that Sam Peter has no skill and he won't be able to handle a boxer.. etc, etc. The one thing he does have is confidence and the ability to disguise his punches... I guess you can say that is natural talent. Look at his past few fights his oppenent usually thinks he is throwing one punch and they get suprised and KO'd by another. He is not a one punch KO artist but he does land many hard punches consecutively.

Wlad on the other hand has lost a lot of confidence from his past two defeats both by KO. It's not the best match up fighting a guy who has been knocking out his oppenents in Sam Peter. I got to say the favorite here has to be Sam Peter.
