Because obviously Mayweather needs an excuse as to why he lost if the fight happens. Oh and because Mayweather is such a smart boxer he has the need to explore Don King as his promoter. Yea the same moron who felt Klitchsko gave Valuev too little money and instead made Valuev fight a lesser opponent for even less money.... I can see it now, all roads lead to Mayweather...but currently only the IRS is taking that road and everyone else is on detour for reasons unknown.

Mayweather insisted upon OST's because of Manny's amazing (some say unprecedented) rise from 130-147 within 18 months, and because the Mayweather camp heard rumours from two people who train at Wildcard.

Who cares why he asked for OST's ?

They are fkn harmless little tests, and many athletes from most sporting codes undertake them on an annual basis.
