You really didn't think Floyd was going to fight at 154 permanently be serious man. Everyone knew it was a one shot deal.

Why didn't dela hoya move down to 147 and fight Floyd, because Dela Hoya was the bigger name and Floyd was challenging him for his belt. The same thing happened in the Mayweather/Hatton situation. Floyd was the bigger name and Hatton was challenging him for his belt.

In the JMM case this was a tune up fight at a catchweight. No title belts involved. If there was title on the line you would have a case but there wasn't. The whole premise of him trying to fight Marquez at that weight was to gage if he could fight Pac at that catch weight. Obviously he failed at that and Pac has been fighting at 147 so he wouldn't need to do a catchweight with Pac.

who was there that wanted to fight him? No one stepped up after the gatti fight. kosta held the belt hostage for 2 years then lost to hatton, hatton and cotto wasn't ready at the time. So else was there to fight? I say this was his best weight because he looked physically stronger than he did in the lower weights and kept his speed, and power..He lost his some power when he moved up to 147..so thats why I think 140 was his best weight

do you even pay attention to the Convo? lol

He asked why Floyd would "go backwrds" and fight Hatton at 140. I said to win the lineal championship at 140..

I also pointed out that he went "backwards" after winning the wbc title from Dela Hoya at 154, then going back to 147....whats the difference?

And WHY couldnt he stay at 154, he could have..no reason why he couldnt..dant say "oh we knew it was a one shot, balh blah blah, to fit your argument
                      .
so dont use the excuse, why go backwards? he was going backwards from 154...lol

try and pay attention, I expect more from you, V, ..guess maybe I shouldnt..lol
