he was taken to Hospital and the rest is History, G-Man never fought again and he is still in wheel chair to this day being looked after by is sister on a shoe string budget. He can't walk and is mental capacity is limited

McClellan was left 80% deaf and 100% blind, he also has very poor memory.

By the time they fought, McClellan had become a KO-happy nut.
He dismissed Manny Steward as his trainer one fight before that....& had lost his senses as a fighter.

He had excellent skills that set up his mammoth punches.
All he did against Benn was swing the overhand right....then the hook.
Had he retained his old skill, Benn would have never made it past the 5th round.

But, Benn was an animal, & he came back from the brink (more than once) to take Gerald out.

When I watch old fights, I always go right to the action. Not with Benn-McClellan.
I watch the entrances, the anthems, intros, etc.....there was something dark & apocalyptic in the air (from what I gathered on my TV set) that night....& it carried on through the fight, & into McClellan's being taken away on a stretcher.

and benn was living a very nice life now ... he rather kill the guy than making him suffer for the rest of his life
