If Alexander drops some rounds to Kotelnik the same way he dropped rounds to Urango, I'm going to have serious doubts about whether he would even be competitive with Bradley TBH.
Devon and his punk as5 trainer have big mouths. It's going to be funny watching Alexander struggle with Kotelnik........we'll see what his boisterous trainer has to say when Alexander ends up looking mediocre tonight.

He risks more to get more.
If he gets tagged and loses some rounds I expect he will be going for the knockout.
He loss more rounds to Urango than Berto did but got the KO.
Im not completely sold on Alexander. We'll see what happens tonight. I hope he gets that azz tagged for talking that ****. i dont want him to lose cuz I want to see the bradley match, but I do hope Kotelnik rocks his azz a few good times.
If Devon really thinks that's true, then he's in for a rude awakening in January. How is Kotelnik more skilled than Bradley? Yes he's fought better competition than Bradley, but he hasn't exactly looked great either (was outclassed by Khan, robbed Maidana and got robbed by Witter but didn't look as impressive as Bradley did in the process).
And to say someone who was outclassed by Khan belongs at #2? That's a joke. Heck Urango could probably beat Kotelnik or a least give him hell. If anything, Bradley could argue that he's a better all around boxer than Alexander, possibly because of his experience. He has better defense and head movement, better footwork/speed and has taken harder shots and proven that he has a great chin (which we haven't seen from Alexander yet. Who knows how he'll respond to a huge punch). Both have been down before so it's not like they don't both have weak spots, and Alexander makes a lot of mistakes against boxers so he can't act like he's this superior without proving himself first.
I think what he said was just to hype up his fight tonight, but if he actually believes that then he should be ashamed of himself. That's like saying Joshua Clottey is more skilled than Shane Mosley.

what do u mean they both been down before? devon never been down in any fight he had, i would say he has a great chin because he walked through urango's punches, so how could you question his chin?

Can't remember the guy's name, but I know he was a journeyman and he took the fight on two weeks notice. Perhaps the experience factor caused it, but he landed a counter body shot that dropped Alexander in round 1. It was ruled a slip for some odd reason, possibly because of the hometown advantage. And he really gave Devon hell that night before getting knocked out in the late rounds.
And sure Urango landed shots, but he didn't land a huge punch. A huge punch would be like what Kendall Holt landed on Bradley. That one big punch that usually shakes fighters up. The punch Holt landed would kill certain fighters, or at least make them lose their legs. Devon took some shots from Urango in round 7, but those weren't loaded up or anything.

wrong, i was at both of those fights u are talking about ringside and the guy name was jesus rodriguez and that was clearly a slip nobody thought it was a knockdown and the lil dude was just a hard target to hit thats it, he was wild and thats why he got stopped. and with urango, well he was hitting devon with some bricks, it just look different on tv. devon got hit with a hook that made his head lean to the side but devon shook it off as soon as it hit him.
