John Murray is hoping to get a crack at Michael Katsidis for the vacant WBO lightweight title of Juan Manuel Marquez. Marquez is expected to move up in weight to challenge WBA champion Amir Khan on December 11. If that happens the WBO will make Katsidis the full champion at the weight.

I like Murray, his fights are always decent to watch and he likes a good scrap. Could be abit of a war while it lasted. Id expect Katsidis to stop him though.

This would be a GREAT fight! For all u Yanks who dont know Murray - he's the nuts and his straight at u pressure style would gel with Katsidis so well! Dont know how he'd handle the power tho, he seems solid in the chin department but then so did Mitchell!

I have seen 2 Murray fights on youtube. From what I have seen Kats puts a nice little beating on him. It would be a slobber knocker while it lasted though,.

Katsidis is world class. Katsidis beats the dog**** out of him, stops him within 4 rounds max and it isn't close.
