BERLIN - WBC Super-Middleweight Champion Mikkel Kessler took a brief timeout from his busy training schedule in Berlin this week to visit Germany´s top Ice Hockey team, Eisbären Berlin. The Viking Warrior will return to the ring on September 25 when he takes on Allan Green in their decisive Super Six World Boxing Classic Group Stage 3 clash. The fight will serve as the grand opening of the state-of-the-art MCH Multiarena in Herning. Since this summer, gifted Danish ice-hockey international Mads Christensen plays for Berlin, and he showed his countryman his skills during a brief training session on the ice. Kessler returned the favour by teaching Mads some light punching combinations which “might be useful on the ice”.
