Because it's a MEGA event? There's so much money involved, I'm sure he'll make back the money in other ways.

Also, you have to imagine by taking less, he's still making ATLEAST as much as a fight against a Mosley or Marquez.

somebody needs to explain this to me how was GBP the problem in the negotiations? I thought the thing came down to the split and OST is Don going to convince Manny to take random testing?

so what exactly is Don King going to do differently here
Actually it is the opposite. I think Don king told Floyd what he wanted to hear. That he will never have to see that beast in the ring if he did not want to and that they will find ways for it never to happen. Cuz I think thats what Floyd really wants.

The problem was never GBP... it was Floyd wanting no part of Pacquiao and Haymon/GBP/HBO trying to pressure him to fight. Mayweather signing with King isn't about a Pacquiao fight, even though King would LOVE to rake in that megafight dough. I think Floyd being ringside for Alexander's fight is the same as Amir Khan being ringside for Marquez-Diaz II, it's scouting.

Look for Mayweather-Hatton II and Mayweather-Alexander next year.

Man, King is the devil.....the devil is damn convincing, at least until payday then the lawyers need to get involved. King talks a good game, gets you hooked, then dips out when the **** gets thick.....takes years to sort it out.

He promised Floyd the world and Floyd thinks he might just be telling the truth...."You give me 1 million dollars, I'll invest it and give you 4 million in return".....damn, son

I'm hoping that King won't have a *****-like mentality and tell it like it is. That this ped testing **** is ****** and ridiculous. That he can beat Pac without it.

Considering Kings best fighter is Alexander (who doesnt make much). He'll gladly take it.

I think he'll get a nice payday from this fight. We have to remember King is worth over 100 Million dollars hes set for life. Hes robbed several fighters to get there but still..lol.

Hes been doing this for decades. Hes beyond rich. I think hes just racking up some extra Millions promoting Boxings biggest star. He gets paid and he gets his name and face back out there.

Fights with Pacquiao, Cotto, Khan, Alvarez all will be big paydays.

Pac fans need to get off the high horse.

Neither one of these guys are afraid of each other. Goodness.
