lmfao at people who think the stoppage was clearly warranted
he was taunting larios, showing energy, had no marks on his face and was still throwing...who knows what could have happened in the last 2 rounds
if it had been a male ringside doctor i honestly dont think it would have been stopped as no way mccullough would have let roach stop it
on the other hand mccullough did have a minor brain problem few years back so im not 100% against the decision, but i feel more strongly that he cud have finished easily.
and to be fair he has clearly been over his optimum weight class for sometime now for financial reasons, larios was waaaaaaay bigger than him, same with harrison and morales. he sould revert to the original weight he won the wbc at and i think he could regain there with half the trouble tbh
I was hoping that the fight would be stopped when I was watching. I don't care if the person's making taunts and what not, he's still getting beat down ridiculous. Roach knew what he was doing and the doctor did too. I don't wanna see any man just getting beat up.
This **** was very saddening especially after seeing McCullough crying after the doctor stopped the fight. The guy has tremendous heart and would rather die than lose his pride.
Wayne could've continued that fight. I think the doctor did make a good call though by stopping that fight because of the effects in the long run. I wished she wouldn't have though because McCullough has a lot of heart and pride and he was stripped of all his pride when she stopped it. Either way, the decision the doctor made to stop that fight has its upsides and downsides.
