Yes that is the fight that made Hopkins a star. I knew Hopkins for a long time, but most people didn't know this guy, I asked so many people about Hopkins, no one knew who Hopkins was for a long time. You really had to be a big boxing fan in America to knew who Hopkins was, also most big boxing fans outside of America didn't really knew Hopkins until he beat Trinidad. Most Hopkins fans are bunch of new nut-huggers.

Hop has been known to anyone who's a fan of boxing. If you love this sport, then you know Hop. You can't be a champ that long and not be known. He is a smart fighter who does just that. Fights smart. If he has a chance to get in yor head then that's what he is going to do. It might be tasteless, but he has to bring home the bacon in the end. I personally liked him until this fight, but I think he went to far with the trash talking. Hop did what Hop does. It is what it is.
