There are several fights being worked on in Mexico. WBA lightweight champion Miguel "Aguacerito" Acosta (27-3, 21KOs) is likely to defend his title against Ricardo "Pelón" Domínguez (31-6, 19KOs). This fight will take place on September 11 on the undercard to Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. vs. Pawel Wolak. [Click Here To Read More]

Acosta vs. Dominguez... the guy who just lost to Soto, and got sparked out by Zahir Raheem in one... Yeah, not a fan of this fight.

Arum should be doing his best to get Acosta and Soto together fr a unification but no just 2 lads who will probably be way out of their depth

Not sure Dominguez had any reason to be fighting Soto in May for the WBC title. He loses big and now he's fighting Acosta for the WBA title? Really? And Matsuda, the guy who got KO'd in 2 rounds by an aging Guty Espadas two years ago? Some really ****ty matchups

Dominguez won some tournament in Mexico to get his shot against Soto... He did nothing to get his shot against Acosta.

¿How the *** is Alex "El Nene" Sanchez getting a title shot? He hasn't fought since he RETIRED(for the 2nd time) 2 YEARS AGO(2008)..He lost his last his 3 fights(2 by TKO because he did not come out to fight cause almost got KO'd the round before & 1 got knocked the *** OUT!!) As a matter of fact of his last 8 fights(dating back to 2002) he's lost 5(4 by KO) 2 wins(Against Tomato Cans) & 1 draw(Got KO'd in the rematch)...THIS DOESN'T EVEN COME CLOSE TO SOMEONE WHO DESERVES A SHOT AT A TITLE OR AT LEAST TO FIGHT THE TOP 10 GUY'S!!! THIS IS PROOF THAT THE WBC WILL DO ANYTHING TO BLOW UP NIÑOS RECORD & TITLE DEFENSES!!!!
