    Michael Katsidis vs. Robert Guerrero

HBO is holding Nov. 6 for a "Boxing After Dark" card to be promoted by Golden Boy as part of its output deal with the network. Golden Boy's Schaefer said there are several possibilities for the card, but a fight he wants to make is Michael Katsidis against Robert Guerrero in a lightweight bout. … Schaefer also said that if a Dec. 11 Amir Khan-Juan Manuel Marquez fight, which would be in the U.S., doesn't happen, Khan would still fight on that date, but possibly against Victor Ortiz or Marcos Maidana in his native England. "There are a lot of moving targets," Schaefer said. "But Katsidis-Guerrero would be perfect for Nov. 6. I'll discuss the scenarios with HBO." … Although ESPN2's "Friday Night Fights" season ends this month, there will be a live special Nov. 11 in honor of Veterans Day. Like it did last year, ESPN2 will televise a card (fights to be announced) from the New River Marine base in Jacksonville, N.C. There won't be tickets available, just freebies for the military at the base.

    From Rafael's notebook.

Not impressed at all with Guerrero, Katsidis would whoop him.

        Would be a tough fight.

If Michael can handle The Ghost's power I see him stopping Robert Late or winning a UD.

As much as I like Guerrero he won't have the power at LW to keep Katrsidis off him, like Escobedo. Of course Robert is way better than Escobedo, that's why I think the fight would be competitive but Katsidis takes it.

the ghost's surgical punches slice up katsidis' face en route to a stoppage.
he looked terrible vs casamayor cuz casa didnt come to fight.
guerrero's ability to create holes and fill em would be the perfect style for a guy like katsidis who can only come forward.
i see katsidis/casamayor all over again, except the ghost hits much harder than casa.

i dunno what u heard, guerrero can ****. he's pretty big for a LW. i have no idea how he was able to make those lower weights with that frame.
he hits harder than casa and look what casa did to katsidis.

I'm not so sure that Robert can hit as hard as Casa.

I also think Katsidis has improved since the Casa defeat.

I think he gauges him early and slowly amps up the pressure until Robert ether gets stopped late or he loses a competitive UD.
