I dare say Cotto is a level above Tito in the boxing skills department. Tito relied HEAVILY on his serious power at 147, his skills were decent at best. He was also tall for a WW which helped.
I think this is not as much as a wash as people think. The Cotto that beat Mosley (past prime but still good) would have lasted all 12 rounds and could have easily caused Hoya problems with his jab and deceptive hand speed.Comment

I think Cotto timing was/is one of his best weapons..But Hoya had timing and Hoya also had a way better Jab..I really can't see Cotto giving Hoya any problems tbh,Hoya just seems to be better in every area..I like Cotto but I could not see him beating Hoya I'd givehim a better shot at beating Tito tho..Comment

DLH no doubt...people can hate him all they want but Oscar at his prime at 147 was on point! In my eyes, as well as many others, Oscar really only lost to Mosley at 147. And there was controversy concerning Mosley and balco. Anyway, DLH blazes Cotto in 11.Comment
