DLH was a beast in his prime at 147.

I agree with most people saying DLH wins, but I'm not sure if it would be by KO/TKO.

Also, it takes extreme pressure, chin, stamina, and a high workrate to stop Cotto. DLH does not fight like a pressure fighter or have a high workrate.

Didn't Prime Oscar have stamina issues going into the late rounds? I also think Cotto's bodyshots would affect Oscar's stamina even more.

That was only a myth made by his late career performances and the Trinidad fight. In his prime years, most the time he actually rallied well in the late rounds...ie knocking down Quartey in the last round to clinch the fight, knocking down Castellejo in the last round, KOing Vargas and Carr in the final rounds...

I wouldnt necessarily call him a 'late round fighter', but generally he could dig in and do what needed to in the last rounds.

Prime Oscar wins it by close decision. 90's welterweights >>> 2000's welterweights.

If Trinidad and Oscar were still in their prime in the 2000's Floyd would still be at 140.
I'm not even sure about that coz Floyd never fought any prime great WW.

He wouldn't KO him, but I think he'd win a comfortable 8-4 UD.

His style isn't a style that would be a problem for Cotto. He's not an aggressive all out punching machine like Margarito or Packy. He's just a better boxer and would out-box him. I think Cotto would definintely have his moments because Cotto in his prime could take a hit and is will to take 2 or 3 to land 1. I think he'd make it interesting in the middle rounds with cumulative body shots

Oscar in his prime had that extra little 'something' though in the late rounds to pull out a victory (Trinidad fight not withstanding)
