King, and Dan Goosen have both gone on record as saying they've both offered Vitali fights WITH NO OPTIONS.

The only FACTS are they YOU'RE trying to tell me Vitali Klitschko is obviously the best Heavyweight in the world despite the fact he hasn't beaten a fighter better than Corrie Sanders, and is 0-1 against the current top 5 - 7 Heavyweights acitve right now.

Um, Don King said that when he was in the booth HIMSELF. Nothing to do with VK and his promotional contract. This is a FACT. You must not have been watching, which if you weren't you have no right to post on the subject.

Not only are there several interviews with King talking about how he hasn't asked for options on Klitschko, he was on HBO talking about that very fact not to long ago.

Dan Goosen has said the same thing about Vitali.

He counts on promoters asking for options on him so he can point the finger and use that as an excuse for fights not being made.

The proposed Toney fight is a perfect example.

Both Goosen and King co promote Toney, and both stated they asked for NO OPTIONS on Vitali in a fight with Toney.

King was on HBO on the Cotto Abdulev card, and talked at great length about the problems he had negotiating with Klitschko, in specific, his claim about King asking for options.

KING: Klitschko is a good guy and very smart. He's a good fighter, I respect him but I challenge and invite Klitschko to the tournament, if he said he's the best as they claim then lets do it winner takes all, I'll put three of my belts on the line. Chris Byrd is ready to beat him again so how can he be the best heavyweight when he's avioding to fight other champion in his weight class? Rahman is his mandatory so let him fix his hands and lets get it on. Klitschko at some point got tired of hitting Williams. Klitschko got to meet these guys. POST-FIGHT WRAP PROVIDES ANOTHER SHOT ACROSS THE BOW!
And it wasn’t done yet as announcer Jim Lampley took the nights final shot in his post fight wrap, reminding all that it is King who is preventing unification at heavyweight by demanding options on WBC champ Vitali Klitschko as if Klitschko is some sort of legitimate draw (and his Pay-Per-View numbers against Danny Williams say otherwise). On a night of bad fights (the replay of Winky Wright-Felix Trinidad was just as anti-climactic the second time around), “HBO vs. King” continued to be the gift that keeps on giving. After all these years, I felt it appropriate to pay tribute to this long running feud.
