Who should marquez fight next ?

Katsidid deserves his shot and it would be a good fight, I really hope it is not Khan as I agree with the other posters who have said that he/GBP are looking to make his reputation against big names they think they can handle easily. JMM looked pretty flat-footed and awful against PBF, and would likely look the same against Khan, who once he won would really believe his own hype and decide he deserves a P4P spot. So I really hope they don't make Khan-Katsidis.

I agree with you completley Katsidis,s come forward bull rush style against a Master counter puncher would be an AWESOME fight and who knows maybe Kat would be to much for him at this point ?

I think Katsidis would give Marquez Hell but i gotta side with Juan. Great fight tho and Katsidis IS capable of winning it, if he can catch Marquez like Diaz did especially in their first fight then JMM is goin to sleep! Fight will be a Bloodbath! I dont think Micheal has ever looked better than last time out, Mitchell is no mug, guys world class despite what MK did to em!

Im an Amir Khan fan but I agree, he is trying to make Marquez sound like the most dangerous fight for him when in fact it would be Barrera all over again! He should stick to fighting LWW's, there are plenty of grea fights for him right there in his own division!

Katsidis has earned his opportunity, though I think Marquez is too clever and just too good for the Aussie. It'll keep Marquez feeling young though lol, Katsidis brings the fight to him, JM takes him out in 8 or 9 rounds and then... a move to LWW? Not sure. He's obviously chasing big money fights, him versus any of the 140 lb champs would be entertaining

Absolutely, I am a Khan fan but considering he is in such a good division I wish he would fight some competitive fighters who specialize in LWW.

He should fight Delaquitter, Hatton, Cotto, and Clottey at the same weights Pacman did and then everyone will realize that they over rated Marquez a little too much once they learn how all 4 of these opponents spank him..

The question now is WHO WILL HE FIGHT NEXT ?

His mandatory is Katsidis and many people seem to favour the thought of this fight as it would be VERY COMPETITIVE as long as it lasts , I personally think Marquez vs Katsidis would be a WAR !!

Golden boy are keen to match Marquez against Amir Khan which would make him the first Mexican to win world titles in 4 different weight classesbut many people feel this could be a BAD MOVE for Marquez as he looked Slow and Bloated the Last time he had to move up in weight maybe if Khan were to fight him at a catch weight it would be better

Me personally i HOPE Marquez doesnt take this fight as Khan would have every advantage over Marquez including Height,Reach,Youth & fighting at his natural weight - many folks think this is a ploy by golden boy to build up amir khan and to get him recognised worldwide against a LEGEND without the RISK of him being KNOCKED OUT AGAIN !!!

Bob Arum says if Marquez wants another fight with Pacquiao he needs to fight and beat someone like Josh Clottey or Tim Bradley!!!!

Maidana vs Marquez is a great fight.

Berto would be an easy fight for him style wise,but Berto would be too big unless he grabs a 144 catch weight.

Yeah Marquez was able to rally late against Diaz in their 1st fight and Maybe Katsidis work rate and agression would be 2 much for Marquez but that fight is definately a worthwhile fight that again with a stellar undercard could probably do well on a pay per view!!!
