that's just terrible using marquez as an example. Some guys can add weight better than others. Add to that Marquez is 37 years old which is always harder for older guys to add weight.

Look at Duran he went from 120 pounds all the way to 154, 160, 168 and even over that at one point. He was the same height as Pac.

Some guys are succuessful adding weight, some aren't. It really is that simple.

Also, if Pacquiao went immediately from 135 to 147 pounds and fought mayweather like marquez did, it's likely pac would have got his ass kicked too. Pac at least had a fight with Oscar and Hatton before taking on a real wetlerweight in cotto then clottey. Marquez skipped the whole process and went straight to the best without testing the waters!

And if you honestly think Pacquiao is FASTER at 147 then he was at 122, 126 & 130 I think it's you that's blind my friend. Pac's technique is better, but he isn't faster than he was at those lower weight classes. Check the tapes
