That would be a classic duck and funny. Williams calls out Cotto because he's secretly afeared of him. To counter that, Williams makes such an aggrandizing statement in calling out Cotto that he (Cotto) actually avoids Williams sparing Williams the daunting task of actually fighting Cotto. It doesn't work though. Ask haye.

In case I worded it poorly, I am not remotely suggesting that Williams ducked Cotto.

That they did... Cotto-Margarito is one of my favorite fights to this day, and I actually went to Cotto-Mosley.
