if donaire's chin holds up at 118, he beats montiel. cochulito has been slowly deteriorating. he's put in a lot of hard work & has been in the game for awhile now. he was losing the hasegawa match until landing that hayemaker.

if donaire can handle moniel's power, donaire is beating possibly tkoing montiel. donaire is younger, faster, more athletic, slicker, & dynamic than montiel at this stage.

KO-Chulito is in his prime right now, Look at this year he's in the running for fighter of the year. I know damm well Donaire needs the fans so he won't fight a boring fight with Montiel, He'll at least want to trade with him from time to time and if he does that it's good night for him. If he can box around and stick and move then he might get a UD but not a TKO.

montiel is 31. that's old age for the lower weight classes. ive seen gradual slippage from montiel. he's on his way down, not up, complete opposite from donaire. got a lot of love for montiel though. never afraid to go to hostile territory & take a fight. especially against young up & coming lions like he did vs gorres in the philippines & hasegawas in japan. i will always have mad respect for cochulito for that.

True that man, Hopefully we get the Donaire fight this year if not next. Montiel is throwback, He'll fight anyone right now. But right now it's the best he'll ever be...
