Mayweather will never be forgiven, whatever he does he will be hated on until he loses. Ever since he took on this "money" persona he's got nothing but bad publicity because that's what he wants.

      Why not fight this year?

and fighting Williams at 147 would be seen as draining him at that weight and gets him no respect so the only thing I could see is him fighting Martinez for the MW belt at a catchweight and that would be seen as a ***** move by most boxingfans
so who do you think he will fight to redeem himself? berto, bradley, khan?

btw, catchweight isnt a ***** move at all. it was just unlikely for pac coz there is a title involved and also it involves a record for his eight title. floyd doesnt care about belts anyway.

no redemption is necessary IMO but if Pacquiao fight is not made in 2011 then the winner of Bradley vs Alexander or even Berto is a good fight give some of the undefeated young boxers a chance

but #1 fight would be Martinez at the 160 limit floyd could come in at 152 if he would like but no catchweight

I agree, he should fight at least one of three boxers that he duck for a long time in a WW division.

if he fights this year and not against pac, it is way of confirmation that he avoided a fight with pac.

doesnt this mean that his 0 loss will always be questionable?

do we really need confirmation? So if he fights early next year are you saying he didn't avoid Pac?

im a floyd fan but I DONT understand what that 0 will do for him in his life when he retires.....50 million would sure do alot especially with his money management skills investing in BS. I dont believe anything arum said about negotiations but if floyd didnt take the fight out of fear, its not a smart move
