Neither he nor manny need each other to make money..... duh.... but if they want to have the highest grossing fight of all time, or be the top paid athlete of 2011 or want to be respected legacy-wise, they need to fight...

but either way, if you're more concern with mayweathers income than boxing.... more power to you
