Trinidad was something special. Boxing needs a guy like him right now.
I gotta admit: I REALLY miss Felix Trinidad

To this day, I'm still in awe of his run from 1999-2001. I think the weakest guy he fought in that time was the mandatory against Thiam. Whitaker, De La Hoya, Reid, Vargas, Joppy and Hopkins. And he wanted Roy Jones after Hopkins! Yeah, they don't make them like that anymore.Comment

Actually, the Oscar fight worked out.
Met these cool-ass Mexican cats who got me into the House of Blues. And i chatted up with Chris Meloni (he was on Oz at the time).
The only problem was that the table minimums were CRAZY that night. The casino was packed with top boxers. Everywhere you turned.Comment

I met Tito and Oscar when they came to Chicago to promote their fight. Tito was really really nice, took pics with everyone and signed autographs. Oscar was a **** and didn't sign too much autographs or take too much pics. Meeting Tito was pretty awesome. Don King was real cool as well.Comment
