These fighters want to fight JMM because they think it will be easy for them. Funny.....

It's a tough spot for Marquez. Does he chase history and fight Khan?
Or does he opt to take out Katsidis, for no other reason than the fact that Mike is "deserving." I think only the hardcore fight fans will appreciate a win over Mike, a career lightweight fighter. But it's nothing in comparison if he were able to defeat Khan.
At this point of Marquez' career he should just take the fight with Katsidis I think. The thought of Khan getting another boost from fighting another former featherweight makes me want to vomit. Id honestly rather stick pins and needles in my eyes than see that bull****

True. However Mitchell had no answer for Katsidis' bullrushing tactics and strength.
Marquez however is a better, cleverer fighter. He will move to the sides and counter when Katsidis bores in, much better than Mitchell. However, Katsidis is fast on his feet, and JMM will be hard pressed to avoid every rush, especially over 12 rounds.
Katsidis will probably get stopped by JMM in my opinion, he will have his moments flustering him with aggression and strength, and he might catch him flush and back him onto the ropes, but he is very open, and Marquez is so accurate, and has a good punch at 135, he will keep catching Katsidis even when he is being caught himself, and then when he settles into a groove and things low down a touch, he will move into top gear and take him apart for a stoppage win.
Similar to the first diaz-jmm fight. Very entertaining, and competitive at times, but with a definitive result.Comment
