I'd say the "Thrilla in Manila (Ali-Frasier III)" b/c every time it's on ESPN classic, I always end up watching it....

Its cool, you were probably going to say Berto-Urango.

would you still pull the trigger if i said Hop-Jones?

Hagler vs Mugabi is probably my favorite. The early rounds is Hagler moving to his right away from the big right hand, popping the Beast repeatedly with hard right jabs, but not mixing it up too much. Very active but boxing with great skill and discipline. Mid rounds Marvelous wobbles his man for the first time and starts to go toe to toe more and more. Then the slugfest begins to rage. The desperation in the Beast's corner increases round by round. Last few rounds Marvelous steps it up another notch and walks right through HUGE shots and flat beats Mugabi down, **** on **** to score a brutal KO in the 11th.

What makes it that much more impressive to me is that alot of folks think Marvin was past his physical peak at this point and Mugabi was actually a pretty decent boxer, undefeated @ 26-0 26KOs at the absolute top of his game. The way a slightly diminished Hagler exercised tight discipline until he sensed weakness in his foe and then unhesitatingly went thermonuclear just makes me holler and jump up and down every time I watch it.

Despite the controversy, Cotto/Margarito. I still watch that fight at least once a month when I'm training.

I don't think very well with a gun to my head. I'd be liable to say Ali-Spinks II or something.
