Guys... don't encourage this guy by posting on his threads... Pac had no weight at the WW division and Mosley was the Champ in the division. With Mosley's title on the line 60/40 is absolutely fair. Pac's team just didn't want Mosley so he chose the guy who looked less impressive in his last bout... Its clear that is what happened. In Pac's defense I guess they weren't confident about his ability in this division just yet. He wasn't tested there so they went at cotto who had just grabbed a vacant title instead of Mosely. First of all: Cotto barely sc****d by Mosley. That fight very easily could have been a draw. Mosley had him reeling from body shots later in the fight, and would have won comfortably had he just got a better start. To say that Cotto "beat the **** out of him" is completely inaccurate, and shows one of two things: A)You didn't see the fight or: B)You're making **** up to better suit your argument. Actually, it's probably a combination of the two. Not to mention, if I'm going to duck somebody, the last thing I'd do is go to that fighter's gym, and propose a fight with their manager. That's just me. I don't know what your definition of "ducking" is, but that's not the way I'd go about it personally. Well for starters the mosley v. mayweather bout was not for a title also Manny at the time had not one bout selling over a million ppv so I wouldn't consider him having comparable drawing power to floyd having 2 at the time and 3 if you count his worldwide #'s with Hatton... remember this was before Manny selling 1.2 with Cotto. Not to mention Mosley was not in as desperate a situation as he was after his date with Berto was cancelled at the time we are talking about.
