This would be a great fight. I think Pavlik would be able to take Pirog to places he hasn't been before and the way Pirog responds to that would determine the outcome of the fight.

If Pirog has any kind of a chin he should win this by a wide UD, Pavlik was never anything more than an over sized MW with power and no more than basic boxing skills.

That's bull****.

Pirog was winning 3-1 on my scorecard after 4 rounds. He should've been credited with a knockdown in round 2.

Jacobs was running scared throwing mostly pitty pat punches. He was clearly intimidated by Pirog.

Pirog was the elusive aggressor from start to finish and was landing the harder, cleaner, more effective punches.

My scorecard:

R1 - Pirog 10-9
R2 - Pirog 10-9 (it should've been a 10-8 round for Pirog)
R3 - Jacobs 10-9
R4 - Pirog 10-9
R5 - Pirog wins by spectacular KO

Pavlik has trouble making 160 though. He will have to kill himself to make the weight, so moving up is a good move for Pavlik.

Yo watching the fight live I would of said hell yeah Pirog was dominating but after downloading the fight and watching it again. Danny was winning the rounds with his pittypat **** but eventually you can tell Pirog was going to turn the tides which he did. Pirog definitely won round 2 but Danny just won the round by boxing, just do me a favor and watch the fight again.

Now Pavlik vs Pirog would be a great fight. The reason why Pirog went at Danny cause he didnt respect his power but once Pirog tastes Pavlik's power, I wonder how he will react. I still think Pirog will win cause he isnt your typical straight forward boxer like Pavlik, just wondering if he can take a shot.
