    Weight come fight night.

Hey there I ve tried really hard to know the weight at fight night of some fighters, namely cruiserweights. I ve been noticing on boxrec that many cruisers go to the weightins at 190-195 (Cunningham for ex) why is this? Why not fill your frame to the maximum weight limit?

And whats the fight night weight of Cunningham, Chad Dawson, Bute, Dirrell, AA? Is there much difference between the smw and the cruisers..?

Because they are at optimal shape at that weight and extra pound could slow them down. And yes there is a HUGE difference

For Dawson's last fight he came in at 191 and Bute came in at 182 I believe.

14 and 16 pounds is a lot of weight. Either they are big for the weight (most likely the case) and had to lose all that water weight or they didn't really train as well as they could have and lost mostly water weight.

They both looked fit too me, we didn't really get to see with Bute because he stopped Miranda early but Bad Chad was moving around and countering Johnson for all 12 and looked only mildly entertained forget about tired.
