I was a firm fan until he ducked Maidana, and I was willing to give him another chance to fight a proper opponent after the Malignaggi bull**** - I would've supported him in a fight against Bradley, Maidana or Alexander. But noooooo, he's desperate to fight a LW instead. Fuck him. If I wasn't hater before, I sure am now. That's his doing.

So by saying you'd fight Marquez just to get some more money, if you were in Khan's shoes, you're basically calling yourself a cowardly vagina. OK then. :thumb1:

Alexander and Bradley can fight each other in a school sports hall, for a purse of $20

and Khan can fight JMM in vegas for a purse of millions.

Nah, i'd fight them other dudes eventually, but not yet, not when the marquez money is being dangled.

So a 23 year old champion shouldn't have too prove himself by fighting the best competition, or at least just taking care of his mandatories? Are you serious? No matter how choosy various fighters may get in their careers, they at least had too prove themselves early on. By 23, Floyd had faught Genaro Hernandez and Corrales. Khan should at least have too fight the likes of Maidana if he eventually wants to get too that level.

Sure, but don't expect credit for picking such a sham of a fight. 5-10 years down the line, people will always go "Ah yeah, why the hell did he fight Marquez when he could've fought the 3 most dangerous guys in his own weight class?"

Even now, the Barrera 'win' is a tainted one and will forever be a blemish on his record.

It's not just a couple of hundred people - it's fans of his who want to see him fight the best. Does that not compute with you at all? We've got people here who really like Khan, but are majorly disappointed that he's not fighting the best like he said he was going to do. It's fraudulent, considering the paying public are effectively his employers.

A certain Meeeester Haye springs to mind.

i to would rather see khan fight some of the top 140 'ers, but if ur khan u think long term, marquez has recently lost to the 2 best fighters in the world pac and floyd, so khan beating him also would look really good on his record, and would put him higher up on the p4p rankings for sure, thats what its all about these days, mayhbe it would get him closer to that fight with floyd........ not that he's anywere near ready yet...
