But I still don't think they should make this fight in January. I don't think it'll get the exposure it deserves. They should do a doubleheader on November 20th after the Pacquiao-Margarito replay and then fight in April. This fight deserves to be big. A guy like Zab Judah would be a perfect tune up. Alexander-Judah would be big because both are known in the Lou, and Judah is Spinks' daddy. They would probably fill up the venue. Or possibly Alexander-Peterson and Bradley-Judah.

I don't know...The first quarter of the year is usually dead when it comes to boxing, so it just doesn't sit well for me. But Spring is where boxing is usually huge.
    Agreed good post

But I honestly would like to see what Devon does with Kotelnik, but I dont think Devon will have much of a problem with him; and if he stays true to the form we saw in the Urango fight, Kotelnik wont make it past the 6th. And you right Pac is very proven, and has only gotten better. But I think this is as far as Pac goes. The only other place he could go would be to be able to operate without Freddie in his ear with pin point instructions. Not to say that a fighter shouldn't have their corner there with them, no that would be foolish of me to suggest such a thing. But I believe that a great fighter should be able to operate in the ring when their corner has NO answers, Ali was able to do this, Mike Tyson was not. And to me that defrenciates the degrees of greatness to a certain extent.
Tyson Ali = Pac Mayweather lol I see what ya getting at.I agree too.

I said before HBO will put alot pressure for this fight. But its one of those things you believe it when you see it. Until the fight is signed than its nothing more than a hype deal.

          fight

This will be an awesome fight. Even if its at the start of the year....at least that sets up fights for later on in the year. If I had to pick a winner I would go with Desert Storm. I think he will have to dig deep and they're will be some squeeky bum moments for him but he will prevail to a decision.

IDK lil bro. Timmy was wide with his shots way too often to even be in the ring with Floyd. It was the dog in him that enabled him to keep pressing the attack, but he had Abregu hurt a couple of times and couldn't put him away. Also you have to take into consideration the style match ups. Tim didnt have to shoot the same type of angles in the Abregu fight that he had to in the Witter fight, which shows me that he has the skills but only applys whats needed at the moment; whereas Devon has streamlined his shots beater each fight that I've seen. And the most important thing that I saw Devon do was adjust and set traps better. The uppercut that Urango ate was set up. He dropped back to get Urango to come forward and slipped the uppercut in underneath Juan leaning. That was studying the opponent in the ring and making an adjustment. I think Devon's defense could use some work, as he was gettin caught with shots that he shouldn't have. But he's got the same type of dog in him the Tim has and was willing to take one to give one. Thats what I remember seeing from him. But you right Devon has all the questions to answer more so than Timmy does.

Thats why this fight will be a the first candidate for fight of the year. Hopefully with the these guys being #1 and #2 they can get the Ring Magazine's Lineal championship on the line since Pacquaio can't make 140

if i was any one of these guys promoter i wouldn't want the fight coming up so soon i would let it come naturally>>khan ,maidana would have to be taken care of first by any of the two,i find that the fighters should be compensated as well as the fans, but as a fan bring it!!!why wait anyway.

Yeah bruh Pac is not showing any signs of coming back to 140, and the lineal title is gonna be held hostage if the Ring doesnt do something about it. But I think the Ring's hands are tied cause Manny is still an active fighter within the fighting weight for that particular crown. It's a bad situation in regards to the lineal title at 140.

if he(khan) want to fight big names as he said he should be fighting boxer like maidana, bradley or alexander. if the fight between bradley and alexander became fruitfull then he should be fighting marcos maidana.
