    Basilio was a right mess after this fight

    His eye closed shut is from the 2nd fight. An uppercut caught him in 2 or 3 and he fought most the fight with 1 eye. Basilio is awesome.

                i'm gonna get alot of heat for this but srr holds he's hands too low for my liking to say he would beat rjj at middleweight. an undersized, slower basilio was getting to ray. i have no doubt in my mind that jones would do the same....only better.

                  Back then, fighters used to get hit in the back of the head so much and the ref didn't do anything about it. Now days it's different.

                  Basilio had underrated boxing skills in my opinion.
