    Bernard Hopkins future?

I think Bernard will beat Jermain Taylor in their rematch, but I don't think that is what Bernard should be worried about. I think he should really look forward to fighting Tarver? for the light-heavyweight title and then get his redemption on Roy Jones, Jr if Roy accepts the fight. B-Hop's legacy at Middleweight will never be replaced, but when he lost to Taylor his reign ended. He is no longer the 20 title defence Middleweight champion so I think it would be in his best interest to prepare for his fight against Tarver and Roy Jones. Then again, what do I know? He must want that Middleweight strap or he wouldn't of even bothered with a rematch clause. I just think it is in his best interest to go for the Light-Heavyweight strap and put and end to his Middleweight legacy, get redemption against Roy Jones, and then retire as he promised his mother. (Please don't flame me, I'm the new kid and I'm not really sure how things work around here yet. But I'm trying to get the hang of things. Thanks for your appreciation.)

Hopkins shouldn't of lost against Jermain in the first place. It should've been a draw. I think he has a legitamate shot at winning his rematch with Taylor. I'm not sure about Tarver or Roy Jones. I'd have to look into those two opponents a little better compared to B-Hop's style of fighting.

hopkins did deserve to lose, were you watching the last rounds only? He is supposed to be experienced but left it to the last rounds to before he tried to defend his title

Ok. we ALL know, that Hopkins let the first rounds go, yep he did, thats why he lost. If he didn't though, Taylor would have been KO'ed and in the Rematch he will be KO'ed. Don't try to tell me Taylor will beat him in a rematch, he wont.

Hopkins is gonna come back with a vengence and drop this kid and show everyone why he is the real umdisputed middle weight champ.

He made a miscalculation and it won't happen again.

*sigh* Yes, Hopkins waited too long, but he also WON the last few rounds. One judge scored the 12th for Jermain. Did Jermain win the 12th round? Everyone else says no. So, if that judge would've been watching the 12th round and scored it for B-Hop, like it should've been it would have been a draw. B-Hop didn't deserve to lose, and he didn't deserve to win. He deserved a draw decision.

I agree, you are absolutly right. I could not have said it any better.

Here I am saying nard deserved a gift decision, well I was wrong.

He didn't deserve a win, but he did not deserve to loose, he shoulda got the draw.

Heh, I just started today and I'm already getting compliments.

Also, I am a huge Bernard Hopkins fan, but I'm not a nut-hugger, and I was dissapointed when I heard Michael Buffer say "New Undisputed Middleweight Champion." But, I truely feel that both Jermain Taylor and Bernard Hopkins made several mistakes. Jermain went too hard in the early rounds and gassed in the later rounds. (Rookie mistake.) And Bernard waited too long to attack Jermain. (I think he was being a little arrogant and too confident in himself.) It should've been a draw in ANY way you look at it. No one can say Jermain won easy and no one can say Bernard won easily. It was a draw, plain and simple.

Well, I only truely like one boxer, so I guess I can be somewhat of a nut-hugger too. But, I'm not going to say B-Hop should've won that fight because, clearly he shouldn't have. Niether should've Jermain Taylor, but the judges thought otherwise. I think that one judge should either 1. Get his eyes checked or 2. Be kicked off the judges committee. (If there is such a thing.)
