As long as there are good fighters to watch,I don't care where they come from, boxing has been taking a beating & instead of trying to further divide it,boxing fans should find a way to unite it!!

HBO's decisions the past year or two have hurt American boxing.

Ross Greenburg caters to Arum and Schaefer, and doesn't pressure them to make the best matchups.

Boxers from other promoters like Paul Williams are kept inactive because Greenburg won't accept anybody except Martinez as his next opponent, while he's very flexible with Golden Boy and Top Rank fighters.

I don't think race matters, and Europe isn't a country.

It's more that amateur boxing is much more predominant in parts of the Europe like the UK you can still find a boxing gym fairly close to you in the UK (atleast I can) and it seems the in Russia and alot of the eastern European countries have an important olympic boxing regime. The US places less importance on it now.

Boxing is still fairly big in Europe, I know in the UK if you win a title and hold it for a bit then a fair few people will know who you are. I doubt many people know who Dawson is in the US even though he's a better fighter than Hatton. If Boxing as a mainstream sport comes back then the Boxing program in the US will come back and i'm sure they'll be able to produce more fighters.

The best boxers are no longer American, they're not necessarily all European either however, the likes of JMM, Pacquiao, Cotto, Martinez are all great champions.

I think it's more diverse. Part of that is lacking interest in America these days, and increased interest around the world.

America use to love boxing, now people just say it's dead.
