I had Pac wiining the 2nd round as well, and had JMM winning 8 of the last 10. As i mentioned already had it 113-112 even with a 10-6 score in 1st round, had second fight 114-114(6 -5-1). Two close fights that could have gone either way but that is history now.

To me the fight changed in the second round but JMM did not fully take advantage of the changes until round 3. I remember watching and thinking wtf is going on Manny should be finishing this guy but just because the fight changed doesn't mean JMM won the round.

jmm lost round 2. he was still trying to get his wits about him.

he was just doing enough to keep pacquiao off and not get tagged to clear his head.


a lot of people get influenced by the 1st round.

in the 1st round pacquiao was dropping jmm with every shot.

after that , people's perception of what pac was landing was skewed by the fact that jmm wasn't dropping anymore.

even if pac was up 5 points after first 2 rounds, there were still 10 rounds to go, and marquez finished a lot stronger.
after he figured pac out, it was easy to avoid his straight left, he took pacs best weapon away, and didnt allow him to win one single round anymore.
