If You Had A Brother In Same Division Would You Fight Him?

The Klitschko brothers have said before that they would never fight each other, which is fair enough. I was thinking though would I fight my brother (he's 1 and a half years younger) if we were boxers at the top of the same division! I think I would, especially if he was ranked 1 spot higher than me and had more belts. I would want to prove I was the best. A couple of my friends agreed with me but a couple said they could never fight someone in their family.

My question is if you have or just imagine you do have a brother and your boxers at the top of a weight division, would you fight him? It's a fight the whole boxing world would love to see so you'll both make good money but it would be hard for your own family to watch!

Disclaimer: Although this question was inspired by the Klitschko's situation it is in no way a hate/bashing thread on them. I understand why they won't fight each other and respect their decision!

I couldn't fight him as ferociously as I could a stranger so I'd probably not fight him, it isn't fair to the fans.

No, for many reasons:

1. There is a possibility you can seriously hurt your brother, maybe even kill him. How would be able to live with yourself if you did that?
2. There is no way I could muster enough anger and/or indiference to my brother to where I would fight him at 100%, I would half-@ss it and I am sure my brother would do the same. I just would not commit to any punches and it would be a glorified sparring session.
3. If my brother was my best friend and has been there for me my entire life, being there for all of my fights (as the Klitschkos have been there for each other), that is a lot more important than proving who is the "best" for a couple of idiots out there.
