Khan's start to his pro career was OK for an Olympic medalist. But Roach is much better than any trainer over here. Khan relied on his blinding speed to bully and beat his opponents, he was knocked down by Limond and other boxers at domestic level caused him a few problems.

What Roach has done is created and molded Khan a new style. Where he takes advantage of his speed and his great jab, he protects his chin by using a high guard.

Khan wasn't exposed against Prescott, his poor chin was evident many fights before that. Even in the amateurs he was knocked down.
