Sturm wont get a shot till mid 2006

hes gonna get a shot of what the middleweight Title? Its a possibility that he would have to 2007.

B/c if Hopkins fights Jermain in Oct. and wins. The he theres a posibilit that he fights Winky , lets say March. Let say he beats Winky in March he will probably levae his belts and fight Roy Jones or Tarver in Aug. Also lets say Jermain will figt again in Jan. against a bum then fight Soliman in May for a vacant title. the he might look for a fight against Winky in Sept. So in other words nobody wants to fight Sturm cause Sturm only fight Eurpean bums and not US bums. I fe he start fighting bums over here then he will get noticed.

Because lets say If Bernard fights Sturm right now, his status wont grow cause Sturms status is even lower than Eastman.

the middleweight champs have avoided Sturm.....in the same way that Lennox Lewis avoided Butterbean.....there's gotta be some substance behind the hype, Sturm is kinda pretty & all, but he can't punch and has ZERO wins vs. top 10 competition

I thought he messed up De La Hoya so I don't know what your talking about. One thing is for sure he's a pretty good fighter and showed that against Oscar. But I agree with the above, I think eventually he'll get his shot and then we can see what he's really made of

Sturm was taller and stronger than Oscar, and he STILL got outworked in 7 outta 12 rounds, yeah Oscar had a swollen eye, but swelling does not equal winning rounds... Oscar was more active and Sturm really blew his 1 big chance at greatness and now he's been forced back to mediocrity where he belongs

bert schnek was a top 10 fighter and he KO'd him in 2, taylor is the one with no top 10 guys on his record pre hopkins fight, sturm was also ranked higher then taylor in like every system
