How would Lou Dibella's connections stack up against the other great Middleweights?

Lou Dibella's Connections and backroom handshakes have booked to the top of the current Middleweight division. How would his bribes and corruption stack up against the following?

Carlos Monzon - Monzone has a big speed and power advantage over Dibella's connections, but simply does not have the background to overcome this obstacle. Monzone drops Dibella's connections for the 10 count in round 6...and is quickly disqualified. Dibella's conection's DQ6 Monzone

Tommy Hearns- Hearns' chin would most definitely let him down against Dibella's corruption. Tommy slips on a water spill in Dibella's connections' corner...and the ref pounces on him waving the fight off before a solid ounch is landed in the fight. Dibella's connections KO1 Hearns

Marvin Hagler - Hagler comes at Dibella's connections and corruption winging bombs from the opening bell. Dibella's connection shows a tremendous chin by absorbing everything and continuing to dance. By the final bell, Hagler has outlanded Dibella's connections and corruptions 2,067 punches to 5 punches. Press row agrees that if the bout had been for 15 rounds instead of 12, Hagler could have conceivably earned a draw. Dibella's corruption and connections W12 Hagler

Well in that case you are implying that he also used illegal manners to get Hopkins to the top of the Middleweight division?

No. Im saying his connections got the decision against Hopkins.

Bernard never won a close decision for there to be any question.

Dibella used to be a promoter for Hopkins and was the one that got Hopkins to the middleweight championship before the lawsuits.

Taylor's right hand > Dibella Connections

the connections didn't hurt Taylor's case, but the over-hand right is what brought the straps back to Arkansas

Golden Boy Promotions probably has much more say than Dibella does. Oscar works much closer with HBO on HBO Latino and many of his promoted fighters fight on hbo ppv's, including now Berrera.
