    When did this happen?

Since when did having a loss on your record determine the final outcome of a fighter? Loss of respect? Loss of credentials? Yada yada yada. Now this is not due entirely to Danny whatsoever but why has having even one loss mean that the fighter was instantly bad? Never was much to begin with? Will never make it? He should quit and never try again? WTF is going on here?

People always make that assumption after a guy has a bad loss, especially if it's a nasty KO. No surprise really.

According to Floyd he can never be the greatest of all time now. JK

Its really ****** to start calling a guy a bum and cant him out of ever being good just because he got caught with a shot and got KO

It happens to the best of then and in no way should anyone lose any respect for him because of that.

Yea, i would be more worried if he got outboxed in 12, but getting caught and KO'd? Just a roadblock and we will now be able to see if he can recover.

PPL don't know skills and talent when they see it, they just boxrec research and judge off of that rather than really watch the fights.

This talk I have been reading about Jacobs now is just insane to me.

It's too bad that what's on paper determines a fighters future wth no regard for that "X" factor according to some people

This is one thing if the only thing that is better about MMA, no one cares if the fighters have losses as long as they show up and put on a good show.

There is entirely too much emphasis put on win loss record, anyone can have a bad night, anyone can come up against a style that is not conducive for what they do best.

Perfect example is Emanuel Agustus, yeah he has a million and one losses but I consider him one of my favorite ever regardless of what people say. To me he's one of the best. It's my opinion period. No amount of losses is going to deter me from watching the man fight again. It's true, too much emphasis is placed on the win loss record in boxing rather than just enjoying the damn fight.

Yea MMA records dont matter, its the fighters skills that matter.

In boxing emphasis is put so much on the loss column and 1 loss and you will be forever battered, Prime example Khan
