The list is pretty good, I can see why you'd put Lights Out & Sweet Pea on the list, but both those men have never been KO'd or beaten so lopsidedly that it would produce an exciting kind of a fight in a loss. Both are defensive technicians that are very elusive and damn near impossible to catch clean with a real good punch. Both men have also paid the price for being perceived as boring and defensive by being robbed in big time fights.
Tarver & Lewis are 100% on point, they are only exciting when they are in there with a fighter that is exciting, with the exception of Vitali Vs Lewis, have to admit that was pretty entertaining to me and Lewis earned his respect from me as a champion in that fight. he was losing IMO and then stepped it up and took the fight in dramatic fashion, like a champion.
Hopkins is also a guy that can produce a terribly boring fight, I never really found Oscar very entertaining either.
As dude stated most of these guys are p4p fighters but can be boring to watch.Comment

They may seem boring to some people, but heck there's some of the greatest boxers in the history of the sport on that list.
Homes, of of the greatest HW fighters of all time.
Lewis another hall of famer.
Whitaker, another hall of famer.
Toney, not as successful as the preceding trio, but still a top class operator.
Tarver: Was world champion in a poor weight class. Yes he is/was boring.
The first 4 were all very good defensively.
I would prefer to be remebered as an ATG as oppossed to a punch drunk fan favourite.Comment

Its kind of funny that the 2 fighters on pretty much everyones list; Klits and Lewis gave one of the best fighters in the last decade and the best in the HW division when they fought together.
Who would have thought that the 2 most boring fighters would give such a fight

If that's his list, his opinion on boring is trash.
Toney has only been in boring fights, when his opponent forces it to be.
Except for Hopkins, Tarver is not in boring fights. He lets his hands go plenty, especially in combination.
It can get tedious watching some of the others, especially in the late stages of their careers, but not to be on a top 5. Whitaker for the skill he displayed alone, shouldn't be on a top 5 most boring.Comment
