Danny Jacobs vs Dimitry Pirog.. your thoughts??

Went to the fight yesterday. Scalped a ticket from a Mexican dude. Ended up sitting somewhere better than where I would've originally sat. It was a good card. I got there right after the Linares fight though so I was disappointed I didn't see him fight.

Anyway, I've never seen Pirog fight.. though I had heard he was a tough dude. Came out strong and from the get go I knew Jacobs was gonna have some problems but I wasn't expecting his ass to get knocked the **** out.
I didn't get to hear him get interviewed too much since there was these 3 or 4 drunk Mexican bitches sitting close by who would not shut the **** up.

I think I got out of it that his grandmother died and he didn't train for the fight?
What do you guys think. Is this Pirog guy someone we should be watching for or was this one of those nights??

Most def everyone should pay attention to Pirog.The man can fight and he ain't afraid to take a hit.don't get fooled by his age he still fights young and can give anyone problems if not beat most of the jr MW!!! Now I believe some what that Daniels wasn't there 100% but there should be no excuse when u step into the ring.he still got talent and bounce back!!

Thing i noticed, was that although the first round was competitive, Jacobs might of just edged him out, also, that when he almost got knocked down, that it sort broke his rhythm, only he managed to regroup after that and put a couple of rounds together, only he got knocked out shortly after that, so it was almost like everytime he got something going he would get hit a solid punch that would break his rhythm up
