I think you misunderstood what Martinez said.. What I got out of what he said is that he thought he lost the fight and Williams probably does too since there was no clear winner.

So?? Martinez knockdown was clearly a proper Knockdown from a hard power punch one of quite a few from that round, he clearly won that round kid!! Judges score on many things power punches and hurting your opponent being two of them, Martinez made Williams look sloppy in round 1.

Williams got hated on here before when it wasn't warranted. But that's back when he had a better attitude. Hell, I'm even now still fair to the guy. I've got him ranked P4P #3. And I'd get flamed by a lot of people for that. His fights with Phillips, Winky, Martinez, and Cintron were fights against top 5 Junior Middleweights and he won all of them regardless of how controversial the Martinez and Cintron fights were. But if Dawson beats Pascal impressively in a couple weeks I might have him taking the #3 spot.
