he can, but he is giving away too much physical advantage to his opponents, combine that with his age and its not a good idea imo.

he was 133 at the weigh in and looked slow and was really stiff...the reason why he defeated casamayor and diaz was because hes simply better than the two...
seriously i dont ***en get ****** ass people like larry who say this type of ****, marquez is turning 37 this month too, dont forget that... but your too stuck up floyd mayweathers ass you ***en ignore the facts.. MARQUEZ IS TOO SMALL, get that through your ***en head.

My 2 posts said more than your above statements. Floyd dominated him even more than we are used to seeing Floyd dominate. Even Floyd, after being criticized on fighting at 135lbs guy, said he was just a tune up fight. I thought it was a disgrace to fight Marquez when the 140, 147 and 154 was crawling with better suited opponents.
Anyhow, read everything I had to say as there are plenty of reasons why Marquez should stick with 135 and fight the best there. He will already have enough of a challengeComment

...with the exception of a 30 second stretch in the 2nd round, Juan Manuel Marquez was just as effective as Shane Mosley.
I guess Shane Mosley can't fight above 135.Comment
