    hmm

Taylor didn't think he lost the fight. He was just a young man who was anxious all night and was glad it was over because he was getting tired at the end. Also he had been ealing with a vicious cut for most of the fight. Judging Taylor's face at the end of the fight to mean that he really thought he lost is what we call "reading between the lines".

when one of my friends had heard that Taylor had one, he groaned and said "now that punk is middleweight champion" but in all honosty, if there were somebody that was going to eventually beat Hopkins (contreversial or otherwise) I am glad that it was Taylor. Taylor was always supposed to be the 'heir apparent' and he is a friendly and polite champion, and I think he-- like Hopkins-- will hold the titles with dignity, even if it is only for one fight!

when he was hurt in the fight he ducked his head down and COMPLETLY turned around. That showed me that he didnt want to fight anymore. And after the fight he just walked back to his corner like he had lost. The only one that jumped up and went crazy was his promotoer

          From what I hear...

Taylor won the belts, but he also won the beating...

          Sort of like Hagler-Leonard..

          Hopkins is this eras Hagler...

No offense but dignity needs to be shown inside the ring as well as outside of it.Hopkins should of been duducted a point in the 10th after already been warned twice before. I just hope Taylor does not lower himself down to X's level in the rematch.

Taylor won't. Taylor is a man of class and that is why I respect him. B-Hop is a dirty fighter, plain and simple but I still like him. I'm glad that everyone is finally over the "B-Hop won but got robbed." and "Taylor kicked B-Hop's ass." crap. And now we can all look at Jermain Taylor as a class act as Middleweight champion. I don't like his chances in the rematch, but I have a feeling that after B-Hop retires, he will be on top in this division. I hope he stays at Middleweight, but I have a feeling he will move up in weight, too.
