Stop the BS about Jacobs being "exposed" or "overrated"

I already see some comments about him in that regard and this is not the case, he is a talented and skilled fighter.

I just think we found a rare gem in Pirog, no shame in losing to a guy like that.

I am going out on a limb to say that I think Pirog will do big things in boxing if given the opportunity, and Jacobs will bounce back and this loss won't seem so bad in the future.

Pirog is talented but he seemed to get hit a lot, a power puncher could maybe take him out early rounds.

Edit: as the for 'overrated', 'exposed' stuff, that's boxingscene, it'll always be that kinda stuff.

That happens against talented fighters like Jacobs, I can't think of 5 MWs better than Jacobs right now even though he just got KTFO.

Jacob kind of was exposed. Not exposed for being a bad fighter, but for having a padded record, and not having faced a real challenge. It was a tough fight, but as Jim Lampley said "Do you think the WBO expected the belt to be taken back to Russia, no way" Jacobs was being lined up as a money generator for the WBO and Golden Boy, but is sure as hell backfired.

the middleweight division is really wide open. pirog will be good and, if jacobs had chosen another opponent, his train would still be rolling along.

tonight, two talented middleweights stood across from each other and one had to go. it just turns out that jacobs wasn't ready to face pirog's style and, as pirog gains more experience and works on taking less shots, there may be no one in the middleweight division ready to face that style.

Of course he had a padded record but only had 20 fights so I didn't expect him to have a HOF resume, and yeah I know Golden boy expected the Golden Child to walk away with a shiny new belt after a fight with a game opponent but this stuff happens with world class talents like these in the same ring.

The middleweight division is lacking(especially since Martinez and P.Will can't decide what they wanna do)...Pirog may have more success, and Danny could bounce back as well...

I would like to see a rematch, who is to say though that either PWill or Sergio would beat Jacobs or Pirog?

This literally could have been the fight for the MW crown and we don't even know it yet.
