    Marquez-Soto: Make it happen!

Let's face it. Marquez isn't beating Khan or Pacquiao at this point. However, a unification with Humberto Soto is certainly a winnable fight. Soto would school Barrera right now, and I don't want to see that fight. He's got little to nothing left. Marquez on the other hand may be past his prime, but he's certainly still competitive at 135. A fight between him and Soto would be huge in Mexico, and it would be a great opportunity for Marquez to leave the sport on a good note. Both are great technical fighters and counter punchers, so it would be interesting. Of course it means Arum would have to be willing to put his fighter in the ring with someone not promoted by him.

I have no interest in this fight. Soto looks like garbage at 135.

Rather see Katsidis to be honest, plus Arum is trying to keep it all in house from now on.

Who knows, maybe his activity will help him to improve. He's fighting in September, and then again in October.

Although I do agree that Marquez would beat him, and Katsidis would be a more competitive fight.
