Let's face it. Marquez isn't beating Khan or Pacquiao at this point. However, a unification with Humberto Soto is certainly a winnable fight. Soto would school Barrera right now, and I don't want to see that fight. He's got little to nothing left. Marquez on the other hand may be past his prime, but he's certainly still competitive at 135. A fight between him and Soto would be huge in Mexico, and it would be a great opportunity for Marquez to leave the sport on a good note. Both are great technical fighters and counter punchers, so it would be interesting. Of course it means Arum would have to be willing to put his fighter in the ring with someone not promoted by him.
Marquez-Soto: Make it happen!
